

Born August 17, 1948 in Pekin to Francis and Irma (Eertmoed) Cooper, she married David Watts on May 6, 1996 in Groveland. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Klinton Haynes and John (Barb) Haynes, both of Pekin; two step-sons, D.J. Watts and Andy (Dana) Watts, both of Lake Camelot; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Linda Lee of Ft. Myers, Florida; and one brother, Howard Cooper of Manito.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Marilyn had worked for Keystone Steel & Wire Co. in Peoria in the nail mill as a high lift driver, retiring in 1995, after 24 years of service.
She loved to craft, knit, crochet and travel. She also enjoyed the Spoon River Drive every year.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
