Anderson, 83, of 2808 Addison Court,formerly of Sheffield, passed away at 4:30 p.m.Saturday, November 11, 2006 at her home.Born August 12, 1923 in Miami, Oklahoma toFinis Burton and Mazie Marie (Long) Moore, shemarried Richard Anderson on March 22, 1946 in Sheffield.Surviving are one brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Marilyn Moore ofSheffield; three nephews,Skip Moore of Dallas Texas, Randy (Debbie) Andersonand Doug (Patty) Anderson, both of Pekin;four nieces, Denise (Roger) Bolin of Buda,Lori Moore of Little Rock, Arkansas, Linda (Ron) Ledger of Pekin, and Kathy Loftus of Deer Park, Texas;several great nieces and great nephews; and former brother-in-laws, William Anderson of Pekin and Gail Anderson of CaliforniaShe was preceded in death by her parents andone daughter, Kimberly. A 1941 graduate ofArcadia High School in Arcadia, Kansas, she attended college in Miami, Oklahoma.Marjorie owned and operated the Westside Oil Company in Taft, California.She enjoyed spending time with her family

Her funeralwill beat 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2006at the First United Church of Christ in Sheffield, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral. The Rev. Jack Jones will officiate. Burial will beat 2 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2006 atWest Side Cemetery inTaft, California.Memorials contributions may be made to the First United Church of Christ in Sheffield,First Christian Church inPekin, or Methodist Medical Center Hospice Services inPeoria.Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.
