Marjorie M. Taylor

Marjorie M. Taylor, 95, of Pekin, Illinois, died Friday evening, March 29, 2013 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 16, 1917 in Bath, Illinois. She was the daughter of Guy and Frances (Friend) Tisdale. Marjorie married Melvin Taylor on June 12, 1960 in Forest City, Illinois. He survives.

She has two daughters surviving, Darlene (David) Keen and Wanda (Roger) Buckley both of Manito, Illinois. Marjorie has four grandchildren, Tracy Ward, David Keen, Tina Cargill and Trina Buckley, and four great grandchildren, Derek McDonald, Corbin Seitz, Tony Ward, and Angela Ward. She has one sister, Carol Henninger of Easton, Illinois and one brother, Norman Tisdale of Manito, Illinois surviving. She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Davison Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin, Illinois. The Rev. Gene Hooker will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Wednesday. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
