He was born September 15, 1957 in Peoria to Raymond Lawrence and Marie Louise (Rose) Schwarz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Raymond “Bud” Schwarz, II; and one sister, Teresa Rodriguez-Bland.
Surviving are one sister, Anne Schwarz of North Pekin; four brothers, Steven Schwarz of Marseilles, Thomas (Dale) Schwarz of Alabama, Jeffrey Schwarz and Louis (Juanita) Schwarz, both of Pekin and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Mark worked as a roofing contractor for a private company.
He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, and playing cards with friends and family.
Mark was of the Catholic faith.
A gathering celebrating Mark's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
