Marla J Look

Born June 19, 1937 in Spring Lake to Theodore Paul and Sarah Adeline (Vance) Beebe, she married Carl John Look, Jr. on June 29, 1957 in Rock Island. He died August 23, 2001 in Pekin. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Cleo Beebe and Norman Beebe; and one sister, Eleanor Mitzelfelt.

Surviving are two daughters, Karla J. (Matthew) Mosher of Lakeland, Florida and Karen S. (Jeffrey) Rothrock of Utica; four grandchildren, Jenny L. Ewell of Tampa, Florida, Janelle C. Rothrock and Kyle J. Rothrock, both of Utica, and Hanley M. Mosher of Lakeland, Florida; three brothers, Melvin (Mary) Beebe of Manito, Donald Beebe of Mason City, and Roger (Darlene) Beebe of Topeka; and five sisters, Marge (Bill) Vogel of Braidwood, Wilma (Charlie) Campbell of Havana, Della (Dale) Burks of Manito, Lillie (Albert) Hinthorn of Pekin, and Janet (Glen) Naugle of Lincoln.

A homemaker, Marla formerly worked cleaning houses for others for many years.

She formerly attended Pekin First Church of God.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2008at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral. The Rev. C.J. Plogger will officiate. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral.
