Martha Ann Plunkett

Born on July 11, 1961, in Pekin a daughter of Richard and Joann (Miller) Plunkett.

Martha is survived by her mother, Joann Plunkett; five siblings, Karen (Todd) Behrends of Pekin, Kathy (Ray) Reising of Peoria, Mary (Bart) Hoyle of Pekin, Rachel (Scott Jessop) Fowler of Colorado, Richard Plunkett of Pekin; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, longtime partner; Craig Debis and one nephew; Bryan.

Martha attended Calvary Baptist Church in Pekin. She enjoyed sewing, crafting and reading. Martha was the sweetest person you would ever meet. She fought a courageous battle with cancer and never complained. Martha will always be remembered for putting others before herself.

The family of Martha would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the staff of OSF Hospice care team for their exceptional care and compassion over this long journey.

Cremation Rites have been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There are no services scheduled at this time.
