Martha J Warren

PEKIN ~ Martha Jane Warren, 77, of Pekin, passed away at 8:10 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 at her home.

She was born February 29, 1936 in Mason County to Linzy and Florence (Scott) Bale. Her parents, one grandson, one brother and one sister preceded her in death.

Surviving are four daughters, Kay A. Ero of Pekin, Jannett L. (Dan) Foutch of Bartonville, Terri L. Hack of Pekin and Connie S. (Sam) Wilcoxen of Kansas City, Missouri; two sons, Jacob James Warren, Jr. of Georgia and Jerry Lee (Marg) Warren of Pekin; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Martha Jane was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pekin.

She had worked as the manager of Crown Cleaners on Capitol Street in Pekin from 1978 until her retirement in 2001.

An avid reader, Martha also enjoyed long walks and long drives.

Martha Jane donated her body to medical science. There will be no visitation or funeral. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is assisting the family with arrangements.
