Born October 20, 1959 in Pekin to Joseph and Verda (Day) Heath, she married Dave McGinnis in 1984 in Pekin.
Surviving are one son, Mike McGinnis of Pekin; and one brother, Wayne (Mary) Heath of Bushnell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents.
Mary had been a cab driver for Pekin Yellow Cab for 3 years and was also working at McDonald's in the Pekin Super Wal-Mart for the past 6 months.
She enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Judy Doyle will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in rural Tremont.
