Mary Lou Price

EAST PEORIA ~ Mary Lou Price, 79, of 311 Shady Lane, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.

Born August 18, 1931 in Chillicothe to William and Lucille (Nolan) Even, she married Raymond R. Price on July 13, 1968 in Peoria.  He preceded her in death.  She also was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Robert Even.

Surviving are one daughter, Lauren (Luke) Collins of East Peoria; three grandchildren, Eric McQuarrie and Brenden Schneider, both of East Peoria and Brittney (Daniel) Sargent of West Peoria; four great-grandchildren, Nikolas Sargent, Caleb Schierer, Natalee McQuarrie and Kaylee McQuarrie; one brother, William (Rita) Even of Glendale, California and one sister, Jean Szentes of Chillicothe.

Mary Lou was a saleswoman for Fuller Brush Company for over 35 years. 

She was a lifetime member of the Peoria Motorcycle Club and also had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Her graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.  There will be no visitation.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
