Mary Beth Mantovani

PEKIN ~ Mary Beth Mantovani, 63, of Pekin, passed away at 3:20 a.m. Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Fondulac Nursing Home in East Peoria. Born April 10, 1959 in Pekin to Gerald and Patricia (Yocum) Hall Jr., she married Tony Mantovani on April 4, 2008 in Pekin. He survives. Also surviving are one son, Shane (Kimberley) Beeney of Pekin; two sisters, Terry (Keith) Gleason of Pekin and Sharon (Gregory) Ives of Hanna City; her father in law, Monty (Betty) Mantovani of Florida; her mother- in-law, Barbara Mishler of Pekin and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A homemaker, Mary enjoyed watching T.V. and working around the house. She also loved cooking and would always make enough to feed an army. She enjoyed watching baseball and was a Chicago Cubs fan and loved going to concerts and watching Hallmark Movies. Mary was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin. There will be a gathering celebrating Mary’s life at a later date.
