She was born April 25, 1968 in Peoria to Carl R. and Carolyn J. "Peggy" (Privett) Anderson.
Surviving are two sons, Dustin (Naomi) Anderson and Zachary Anderson, both of Pekin; her long-time companion of 13 ½ years, Chris Tobin of Peoria; two brothers, Scott (Kelly) Anderson of Brimfield and Steven Anderson of Pekin; and sister, Deborah (Dave) Cassidy of Pekin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter (Danielle Steenbergen on September 20, 2007), and one sister (Denise "Dee" Ford).
Shelley worked for AECOM in Peoria as a filing clerk for 14 years, last working in October 2009.
She attended Harvest Bible Church in East Peoria and recently gave herself to Christ. She was a devoted mother and also to her family.
There will be no services. Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
