Milo D. "Mike" Thomas

Milo “Mike” Thomas 88, died February 07, 2021 peacefully at home with family at his side.

Mike was born to Wade and Pauline Thomas on August 31, 1932 in Decatur, Illinois. He married his wife Audrey on August 26, 1961. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Harold, Ron and Don. He is survived by his wife: five sons, Mitch (Becky), Randy (Terry), Pat, Al (Carol) and Van (Kim); twelve grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mike retired from Central Illinois Light Company as an Electrical Lineman after 34 years in 1992. After retirement he moved to Winter Haven, Florida. Mike was a member of Winter Haven Christian Church. He was a Mason, a member of Mohammed Shrine Temple, a Shrine Clown and a Consistory Member.

Mike shall be remembered by his love and devotion to others. He could never say no to helping someone. Mike had many God-given talents and loved hand carving and painting. Those who knew him loved him- especially his wife Audrey. Mike will be missed for many years to come.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin with Pastor Steve Weber officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Winter Haven Christian Church https://winterhavencc.com/.
