Born September 16, 1931 in Dongola, Illinois to Claude and Gertrude (McKulsky) Julian, she married Robert Leon Harmon on May 28, 1948. He died December 27, 1995.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Michael Harmon.
Surviving are one daughter, Brenda Lee Grafelman of Pekin; one son, James (Teresa) Harmon of Green Valley; four grandchildren, Jacob, Christopher, Michael, and Joey Harmon.
Mona worked at Pekin Hospital for over 30 years as a Registration Supervisor.
A loving mother and grandmother, her family was the light of her life. She also loved remodeling and fixing up the house, gardening and planting things on her property.
Private Inurnment will be held at Green Valley Cemetery in Green Valley, Illinois.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
