Born March 21, 1941 in Pekin to Fred J. and Carrie Amelia (Martin) Harms, she married Robert Harold Johnson on August 14, 1975 in Geneva. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert Smith of Pekin and Clayton Smith of Aurora; one granddaughter, Coitlyn Renee Smith; and three step-children, Madonna, Dallas, and Robert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Russell, Howard, Delbert, and Bernard “Benny” Harms; and one sister, Orilla Wiseman.
A homemaker, Myrna enjoyed spending time with her family.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral. The Rev. Jimmie Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
