

Born October 31, 1933 in Peoria to Howard L. and Elizabeth M. (Rucker) Blount, she married Eugene Arthur “Gene” Lunini on July 15, 1983 in Pekin. He died July 24, 2015 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dennis Stage of Delavan; one grandson, James Joseph Steiner of Pekin; two sisters and three brothers.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra (Robert) Henry of The Villages, Florida and Diane (Jim) Steiner of Pekin; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Nancy worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for 26 years as a clerk in Accounts Payable, retiring in 1992.
Nancy resided at The Villas of Holly Brook in Pekin, where she had many friends and was known for her spunkiness, collection of crazy sweatshirts, and bingo playing skills.
She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Nancy was also a longtime member of Pekin Women of the Moose Chapter 673.
A private burial will be held at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
