Born August 11, 1958 in Pekin, he was the son of Nelson Albert and Goldie (Patton) Boyer, Sr. They preceded him death as well as one brother, Clifford “Butch” Boyer and two sisters, Karen “Keke” Bohannon and Susie Pence.
Surviving are one son; one sister, Robin (John) Keen of Pekin and two brothers, Louis Boyer of Washington and Albert Boyer of Pekin.
Buddy had served in the United States Army.
He worked as a deckhand for several riverboats in the Peoria area. He enjoyed riding motorcycles in his free time.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services at this time.
