Norma L Brecher

Born July 7, 1921 in Pekin to Henry B. and Lena M. (Bottin) Arnett, she married Alfred Edward Brecher on October 12, 1940 in Pekin. He died January 26, 2004 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Terry S. Brecher and Lee E. Brecher; three brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are one son, James (Marilyn) Brecher of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; one daughter, Kathy Guidi of Pekin; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A lifelong Pekin resident, Norma worked as a cashier at the family business, Arnett’s Grocery in Pekin for 20 years.

She was a member of Second Reformed Church in Pekin.

A private family service will be held. There will be no visitation. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
