Norma M Grant

PEKIN ~ Norma M. Grant, 85, of Pekin, passed away at 6:10 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2016 at her home.

Born May 6, 1930 in Mason County to Arthur and Blanche C. (Hocker) Mann, she married Norman L. Grant on January 15, 1950 in Pekin. He died November 21, 2012 in Pekin.

Surviving are; three daughters, Sandra (George) Burroughs of Zion; Terry Gillham and Bonnie Grant both of Pekin; two sons, Ronnie Grant of Pekin and Glenn Grant of Forest City; and one sister, Clara Clanin of Pekin.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, three sisters and one son, Noel Ray Grant in 1953.

She was a former member of Pekin Eagle’s Auxiliary #1896. She was a member of Victoria White Shrine of Jerusalem in Pekin. She loved to paint and travel.

Norma’s funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
