

Born October 10, 1922 in Farmington to Harvey and Theresa (Keil) Reinholtz, she married Albert “Pete” Taylor on January 28, 1943.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; 1 son, Bruce Taylor; and 1 sister, Margaret Kiblinger.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Joan Cheneler of Peoria and Margaret Voll of O’Fallon; 1 son, Brian Taylor of Mechanicsville, Virginia; and 1 grandson, Joseph Cheneler of Peoria.
A graduate of Eureka High School, Norma was a 1941 graduate of Browns Business School in Peoria and had worked as a secretary for Broderick and Bascomb Rope Company in Bartonville.
She was a long time member of the Normandale Reformed Church in Pekin, where she taught Sunday School and served as the Sunday School Superintendent.
Norma enjoyed travelling to all 50 states, Canada, and Switzerland. She enjoyed music of the World War II era, country music and playing the piano. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, and gathering with friends and family.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Normandale Reformed Church in Pekin. Visitation will be from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., at the church. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
