She was born May 14, 1939 in Pekin to Elvin and Gertrude (Belles) Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents; one great-great-granddaughter, Willow Burroughs; two brothers, Melvin and Anthony Davis and one sister, Phyllis Landrith.
Surviving are three sons, Steven Brackett of South Pekin, Roger (Elaine) Brackett of Pekin and Jacob Brackett of South Pekin; one daughter, Ann (Fred) Bennett of Delavan; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Davis of Groveland and Bill (Jean) Davis of Arkansas and two sisters, Juanita Davis of South Pekin and Debra (Mike) Christianson of Spring Lake.
Ollie had worked as a director and in the nursery at the Crittenton Center for 20 years before retiring in 2006. She later worked part time at Walmart for something to do for fun.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, quilting and doing crafts. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family.
Ollie was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in South Pekin and was a former member of Community Fellowship Baptist Church in South Pekin.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at New Hope Baptist Church in South Pekin. Dr. Steven J. Tassell will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
