Patricia J Alton

Born May 16, 1936 in Peoria to Muriel and Helen (Wilder) Fisher, she married Jerry Alton on June 2, 1956 in Pekin.  He preceded her in death on July 8, 2001 in Peoria.

Also preceding her in death are her parents; one son, Michael on January 26, 1985 in Dallas, TX and one great-granddaughter, Kristina.

Surviving are two sons, Dean (Donna) Alton of Pekin, Brian (Glenda) Alton of Oklahoma City, OK; two daughters, Wanda (Ernesto) Mendoza of Greenville, TX, Joyce (Philip) Miller of East Peoria; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Patricia was a 1955 graduate of Pekin Community High  School.

A homemaker, Patricia was a diehard Alan Jackson fan and enjoyed puzzle books, TV game shows and old movies.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Pekin.

Her memorial service will be at 3p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  The Rev. Steven M. Rowell, Sr. will officiate.  Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
