Patricia C Dobson

Born November 17, 1938 in Peoria to Elmer A. and Verna A. (Camp) Waid, she married Austin Dobson on November 29, 1958 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Marcie Dobson of Marquette Heights; one son, Michael (Rosemary) Dobson of Pekin; six grandchildren, including Andy Dobson, whom she raised from infancy; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Jean Salisbury of Pekin and Mary Lou (Dewey) Hall of Washington; and two brothers, James (Dorothy) Waid of East Peoria and Kenneth Waid of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

A homemaker, Patricia enjoyed crocheting, gardening and painting.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Dave Wilder will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
