Patricia A. Donahoe

Patricia A. Donahoe, 76, of Marquette Heights, Illinois, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at her residence. She was born June 19, 1935 in Peoria, Illinois. She married James David Donahoe on April 19, 1956 in Peoria, Illinois. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2011 in Marquette Heights, Illinois. She was also preceded in death by one son, James Donahoe Jr. and one sister, Teresa Corp.

Surviving is one daughter, Peggy (Mike) Freeman of Pekin, two grandchildren, Erik Freeman of Pekin and Michael Donahoe of Peoria. She has 2 great grandchildren, Alexis and Dylan Freeman of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Patricia has seven brothers and sisters surviving, Bob (Judith) Schaub of Salem, Oregon, Sheila Reeves of Carson, California, Gregory Schaub of Corrales, New Mexico, Dorothy (Steve) Musick of Morton, Illinois, Tom (Diane) Schaub of Marquette Heights, Marilyn Stanford of Creve Couer, Illinois and Joanne (Lee) McHenry of Morton.

Patricia worked at Crossroads Bowling Alley in Peoria for over 15 years. She was an avid bowler in Pekin and Peoria bowling associations. She was an active member of the Marquette Heights Lioness Club, and she was a volunteer with the RSVP. She volunteered many years at Wildlife Prairie Park and did volunteer work at the Guardianship and Advocacy Office in Peoria. Patricia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Pekin.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Davison Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. Father James Pankiewicz will officiate. A visitation will be from 5 until 7 PM Friday at the funeral home in Pekin. Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Memorials may be made to Harbor Lights Hospice.
