Patricia Greer

Born June 17, 1943 in Cairo to Robert C. and Pearl (Singleton) Baker, she married Carroll “Carl” Greer on April 11, 1964 in Peoria. He died April 4, 2014 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Christine; two brothers, Butch and Frankie Baker and one sister, Bonnie Zapushek.

Surviving are one daughter, Carla (Rich) Keith of Cooperville, Michigan; two sons, Robert (Shelley) Greer of Allendale, Michigan and Michael (Shannon) Greer of Jenison, Michigan; eight grandchildren, David Armstrong, Jr., Hunter Greer, Jordyn Krzywos, Payton VanderMolen, Logan Greer, Hayden Greer, Sierra Herrmann and Dakota Greer and four great-grandchildren.

Pat had worked as a dispatcher for Marquette Heights Police Department for several years and cleaned area businesses with her husband.

She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, playing cards and playing a good slot machine. Pat found great joy spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services or visitation.
