Patricia M Justus

PEKIN ~ Patricia Mae Justus, 69, of 1413 South 8th Street, passed away at 6:10 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2008 at the home of her dear friend, Imogene Gebhardt, 1009 Coolidge in Pekin. Born June 18, 1939 in Green Valley to Edward W. and M. Dorene (McGinnis) Havens, she married James Donald Justus on March 24, 1956 in Pekin.  He died February 16, 2008 in Pekin.  She also was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Kathleen Neavear Martiens and Billy Jean Havens and two brothers, Larry Havens and Johnny Ray Havens.Surviving are four sons, James Edward (Cindy) Justus, Robert Lee (Lori) Justus, Kevin Jay (Monica) Justus, and Randy Dale (Theresa) Justus, all of Pekin; nine grandchildren, Nicole (Brett) Forsberg, Natalie (Cory) Gallup, Marie Roets, Benjamin Justus, Emily Justus, Willie Justus, Sarah Bates, Rebekah Justus, and Katie Justus; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Lane Elizabeth; one brother, Mike Havens of Manito and three sisters, Marie (Richard) Rollo-Caywood of Las Vegas, Judy (Dick) Waggoner of Pekin and Belinda (Mike) Howard of Manito.Pat worked as a service coordinator for Community Care in Pekin since 1997, last working on June 4th.  She previously worked for Bergner’s in Pekin as a customer service representative for many years.She attended Grace Baptist Church in Pekin.She always loved traveling and spending time with friends and especially her grandchildren.  She also was a veracious reader and enjoyed playing cards.  She formerly bowled.Her funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.  Pastor Larry Creekmur will officiate.  Visitation will be from 1 to 2:15 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Private burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 1301 South 14th Street, Pekin, IL 61554 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Midwest Affiliate, 4722 North Sheridan Road, Peoria, IL 61614.
