Patricia A Palm

PEKIN ~ Patricia Ann Palm, 74, of 1507 Terrace Blvd., passed away at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 24, 2010 at her home.  Born January 12, 1936 in Springfield to William and Hannah (Murphy) Stone, she married Kenneth Palm on December 31, 1960 in Peoria. 

Surviving are her husband; 2 daughters, Debra (Patrick) Fitzanko and Tina Cunningham, both of Pekin; 3 sons, Ralph Patrick Garmon, Kenneth "Eddie" Palm, and Francis "Frankie" Palm, all of Pekin; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

A caregiver, Patricia last worked for Community Care in Pekin from 1995 to 2000.  Previously, she had been a long time day care provider.  She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Pekin Garden Club. She also enjoyed jig saw puzzles, oil painting, traveling, and was a big Elvis Presley fan.  

Patricia was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Pekin.  

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  Pastor Mark Utech will officiate.  Visitation will be 1 hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
