Patricia A Potter

She was born October 11, 1940 in Peoria to James Merle and Ruth Lorraine (Smith) Beckett. Her parents preceded her in death.

Surviving are one daughter, Lisa Smith of Creve Coeur; three granddaughters, Tara (Jacob) Merritt of Pekin, Lacey (Justin) Montour of Lincoln, and Ashley (Billy Adams) Smith of Creve Coeur; one great-grandson, William Merritt; seven brothers, Donald (Debbie) Beckett of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Dale (Patty) Beckett of Creve Coeur, John (Golda) Beckett and Richard Beckett, both of Manito, Jim Beckett of Fairview, Charlie (Pam) Beckett of Ottawa, and Howard Beckett of East Peoria; five sisters, Shirley (Jim) Evans of Pekin, Ida Hammer of Spring Bay, Penny Beckett of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Phyllis McFarden of Princeville, and Mary (Ray) Moschel of Manito; and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia had worked at Hagerty Steel in East Peoria in the clerical department from 1993 to 2005.

She was a member of Creve Coeur Christian Church, where she helped with the vacation bible school program.

Patricia enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

Her funeral will be at Noon Friday, September 2, 2011 at Creve Coeur Christian Church, where visitation will be from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Friday at the church. The Rev. John Plunkett will officiate. Private burial will be in Trivoli Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
