Patricia Ann Springman

Born January 24, 1947 in Sulligent, Alabama to Hubert and Azilee (McClendon) Roberts, she married Robert Dale “Bob” Springman on August 28, 1965 in North Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Aimee (David) Sarchet of Hopedale and Suzi (Stacy Beckman) Springman of Washington; one son, Andrew (Melinda) Springman of Moultrie, Georgia; eleven grandchildren, Michael (Mandi) Brown, Huntington, Indiana, David (Eryn) Sarchet of Peoria, Nickolas Brown of Peoria, Ronni Sarchet of Pekin, Heather Brown of Pekin, Brandon (Tanner) Hardt, Braden Hardt, both of Washington, Dawson Sarchet of Hopedale, Katherine Springman of Moultrie, Georgia, Brolan Springman of Washington and Micah Springman of Moultrie, Georgia; nine great-grandchildren, Shyloe Knipp, Sara Knipp, Ezra Brown, Olivia Sarchet, Eleanor Sarchet, Jaxen Brown, Jameson Hardt, Navy Hardt and Indy Hardt; two sisters, Barbara Moffitt of Pekin and Charlotte (Tom) Rausch of Hamburg, Pennsylvania; a sister-in-law, Marsha Roberts of Marquette Heights and a “gaggle” of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant daughter, Angela Lynn Springman on October 30, 1976; one brother, Glenn E. Roberts; one brother-in-law, John Moffitt and a nephew, Justin Moffitt.

A gifted homemaker, she was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She found joy in spending time with her family, gardening, crocheting and raising chickens.

She is a member of First Missionary Church in North Pekin.

Her celebration of life open house will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2024 at First Missionary Church in the Sanders Family Center, 124 Lincoln Boulevard in North Pekin. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2024 at Lakeview Cemetery, 1918 North 8th Street in Pekin, with her son, Andrew, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
