

Born August 4, 1933 in Rushville to Clarence and Velma (Henard) Green, she married John Charles Stockert on January 10, 1954 in Pekin. He died January 12, 1997 in Pekin. She later married Ronald L. Cotton on July 28, 2008 at Pekin First Church of the Nazarene. He survives.
Also surviving are her brother, Mickey (Martha) Green of Wayne; two nieces, Cheryl (Tom) Ivey of Pekin and Sandy Myers of Carrollton, Texas; her aunt, Delores Rolf of Chatham; two stepdaughters, Kandy (Kurt) Anderson and Tracey Cotton, both of Peoria and six step-grandchildren, Kaleigh, Katheryn, Christian, Andrew, Bridgette and Ronald.
Her parents preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a stepson, Ronald Cotton, Jr.
Patsy graduated from Pekin Community High School in June, 1951. She worked at Keystone Steel and Wire Company in Bartonville and retired from Keystone in 1987.
Her interests included family, her home and physical fitness. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver for her family members, including her former husband, father and mother.
Patsy was a wonderful woman who was loved, is missed and will always be cherished. She was an active member of Pekin First Church of the Nazarene.
Her visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, where a funeral service will immediately follow. Pastor Cheryl Sherwood will officiate. Guidelines regarding social distancing and the wearing of masks will be followed. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
