Patsy R Witt

Born October 24, 1929 in Merryville, LA to Samuel L. and Gracy Ann (Parker) Wingate, she married Dr. H.B. Witt on September 5, 1947 in Austin, TX. He died November 2, 2002 in Nacogdoches, TX. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son; six brothers and three sisters.

Surviving are one son, Dr. Jerry B. “J.B.” (Paula) Witt of Pekin; one stepdaughter, Sherry (Loren) Dagit of East Peoria; two granddaughters, Nathalie J. (David) Deutsch of Oak Park and Nicole A. (Chad) Emery of East Peoria and three great-grandchildren, Jaiden Erickson-Witt, Ava Deutsch and Ryker Emery. She also leaves eight step-grandchildren and twenty step-great-grandchildren.

Patsy grew up in Orange, Texas and was a graduate of Stark High School. She worked with her husband at Dr. H.B. Witt Chiropractic for 35 years before retiring. She has wintered in Texas since 1981.

She enjoyed flower gardening, feeding and watching the birds. She loved being outdoors and fishing with family and friends.

She attended Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin, where a private family memorial service will be held. The Rev. Dr. Joel Catlin will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
