

Born November 29, 1946, in Peoria to Dale Austin Clark and Roberta “Corrine” (Mason) Harper, she married Robert “Bob” G. Anderson on August 1, 1965, in Kingston Mines. He passed away on April 26, 2017. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Raymond “Stub” Allen Harper; one infant brother, Lannie Lee Clark and one granddaughter, Mason Jo.
Surviving are two children, Robert (Kim) Anderson of Kingston Mines and Angie (Bill) Leach of Glasford; three grandchildren, Nick (Megan) Anderson, Hunter (Breanna) Leach and Samantha Anderson; one great-grandchild, Hudson Leach and one sister, Sally Wills of Glasford.
Peggy retired from Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, where she worked in registration. Previously, she was a self-employed cosmetologist.
She was a member of Kingston Mines United Methodist Church, and she loved her church family dearly.
Peggy’s pride and joy were her grandchildren. She loved watching them and going to all of their activities. She recently became a great grandma and loved her extended daycare grandkids. She also loved her three dogs, Gage, Nico and Roco and enjoyed taking care of the flowers in her yard.
Peggy’s graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Kingston Mines Cemetery. Time for food and fellowship will follow the service at Kingston Mines United Methodist Church. Cremation has been accorded to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
Memorial contributions may be given to Kingston Mines United Methodist Church, Timber Hollis Fire Protection District Company No. 1 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
