

Born December 20, 1972 in Peoria to Robert M. and Sharon (VanSickle) Jenkins, he married Sara Orton on May 15, 2015 in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Starr, Heaven and Sky Jenkins, all of Pekin; one son, Raymond Keith Jenkins, Jr. of Washington; two step-daughters, Brianna Orton of Washington and Jennifer Maston of Washington; three step-sons, Austin Clutter, Travis Maston and Nickolas Maston, all of Washington; three sisters, Loretta (Dan) Kneip of Tremont, Lynell (John) Fischer of Florida and Kimberly (Todd) Regguinti of Peoria; four brothers, Kevin and twin brother, Robert Jenkins both of California and Will Bowen and Ron (Toni) Bowen, both of Peoria and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bryan Bowen and Robert M. Jenkins.
Raymond was a well-known taxi cab driver in Peoria for 25 years, last working at Yellow Checker Cab.
An avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, Raymond enjoyed fishing and tattoos.
Raymond was a loud and big guy, but he was a “giant teddy bear”. He had a heart of gold and was a loyal brother. His children meant the world to him. He’ll be truly missed by everyone.
His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2016 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Pastor Steve Birch will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following services.
