Rene Susan Terrell

Pekin ~ Rene Susan Terrell, 72, of Pekin, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born on October 8, 1953, in Newport, Washington, a daughter of Glenn Gene Pearce and Patricia Ann (Sears) Pearce. Rene married Michael L. Terrell on October 30, 1981, in Pekin. He survives.

She is also survived by her four children, Amy Pearce of Inverness, Florida, Timothy Murray of Pekin, Don Sheahan of Seattle, Washington, and Alicia Terrell of Seoul, South Korea; four granddaughters; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Debbie West of Spokane, Washington; and one brother, Tim (Teri) Anderson of Kalispell, Montana.

Rene was preceded in death by her parents.

She last worked for Excalibur Seasoning in Pekin. Rene previously worked as a manager for Pekin Video Library.

Cremation has been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
