

Born December 7, 1946 in Beardstown to Harold J. and Vera M. (Bradbury) Rigler, he married Connie Williams on May 19, 1978 in Pekin.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Billie (Joe) Billen of Peoria; three grandchildren, Jewel, Joseph, and Jade Billen; one sister, Anna Cravens of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Rigler of Pekin.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ken Rigler; and one nephew.
He had attended Rushville High School and had been ordained by the Pentecostal Church of God in Joplin, Missouri.
Bob had served as the pastor at the Bethel Temple Church in East Peoria for 20 years, retiring in 2000.
He was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of God in rural Pekin.
He was in the United States Navyfrom 1964 to 1968, serving in Viet Nam. He was a member of William Schaefer American Legion Post #44 and the Roy L. King Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1232, both in Pekin and the U.S.S. St. Paul Association.
Bob enjoyed singing, fishing, and being with Connie. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and White Sox fan. He loved people and his church.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Ronald L. Simmons, Jr. will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
