Ricky Joe Carter

He was born on May 29, 1962, in Peoria, a son of William Earl and Bonnie L. (Burks) Carter.

Rick was the owner of CC Storage Sheds for 20 plus years. He enjoyed playing guitar and was a member of the Carter Jam Session. Rick’s favorite activity was laying out in sun on his pool float listening to classic country music. He loved spending time with his family and vacations with his grandchildren.

He is survived by 4 daughters; Hannah Burch, RikkiAnn Carter, Kammy (Ryan) Massey and Kegi Carter all of Pekin, 2 grandchildren; Kinley and Averie, mother; Bonnie Carter of Pekin, 1 sister; Debby Wood of Pekin and 1 brother; Gary (Cheryl) Carter of Lufton, Texas.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, brother-in-law; Mike Wood and nephew; Jeffery Wood.

Cremation Rites have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory Pekin Chapel. There are no services scheduled at this time.
