Surviving are one son, Tom (Amy) Newman and her grandchildren; Tom Newman, Tim Newman, and Katie (Trey) Fosburgh.
Rita loved the simple pleasures in life, spending time with her family and friends, sewing, crafting, and sitting outside in the sun admiring her flowers and birds.
