He was born August 13, 1961 in Peoria to Robert Glenn and Gertie Lucille (Faire) Boyer. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Glenn Boyer.
Surviving are two daughters, Amber Boyer and Catherine Boyer, both of Peoria; one son, Robert Boyer, Jr. of Sikeston, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; five brothers, Larry Sipp, Charles Pruitt, Albert Pruitt, Mike Yarbro and Ronald Yarbro, Sr. and one sister, Connie Pruitt.
Robert worked at Good Humor-Breyer’s Ice Cream in Sikeston.
A huge NASCAR fan, Robert was an avid fan and collector of Dale Earnhardt and Dale, Jr. merchandise. He also enjoyed fishing.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. There will be no services or visitation.
