TRIVOLI ~ Robert K. “Bob” Wilson, 84 of Trivoli passed away at his home Sunday, June 19, 2016.

Born March 19, 1932 in Sterling to Harry and Mildred (Schaney) Wilson, he married Wilma DePue on January 21, 1955 in Dunlap. She died September 16, 2002 in Peoria. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Richard and one sister, Bettie.

Surviving are two sons, Zane (Marcia) Wilson of Kempton, IN and Brian (Marcy) Wilson of Peoria; three grandsons, Jacob, Zachary and Matthew Wilson and one granddaughter, McKenzie Wilson.

Bob had served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He had worked many years as a farmer and had worked as a meat cutter for Excel Meat Packing Plant in Beardstown, retiring in 2000.

Bob was a member of the Trivoli United Methodist Church in Trivoli.

A loving father and grandfather, Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He also enjoyed watching birds and old western television shows.

His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Trivoli United Methodist Church in Trivoli. Rev. Judy Doyle and Rev. Bob DeBolt will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 until 10:45 a.m. at the church.Arrangements have been entrusted toPreston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
