

PEKIN ~ Roberta Holland, 85, of Pekin, passed away at 6:55 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at Pekin Manor.
Born February 18, 1927 in Blandinsville to Morris and Nellie (Bennett) Carmack, she married Ora Cramer in 1947. She later married Robert Holland on January 14, 1989 in Pekin.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Pam (Mike) Adkins and Judi Brookhart, both of Pekin and Michelle Waldrop of Quincy; two sons, Gary (Flo) Cramer of Peoria and Rev. Doug (Mary) Sopher of Princeton; sixteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Ben (Merilea) Carmack of Somerset, Kentucky; and one sister, Lois Kreps of Los Angeles, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Cramer; and two sisters.
Roberta worked for Herget Bank in Pekin for 25 years, retiring from the commercial loan department in 1991.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pekin, where she was active in the Tuesday morning Bible study, the Naomi-Rachel circle, the funeral dinner committee, and the communion committee.
Roberta enjoyed fishing, traveling, crossword puzzles, reading, and playing euchre.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Pekin. The Rev. Steve Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, and also 30 minutes prior to the funeral at the church. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
