

Born January 20, 1932 in Cokeville, Pennsylvania to Earl Quay and Etna Katherine (Short) Diven, she married Arthur Wayne Kalb on August 4, 1951 in Peoria. He died May 25, 1998 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Martha Kozamchak and two brothers, Russel Diven and Harry Benden.
Surviving are two daughters, Susan (William) Coker and Patricia Cady, both of Peoria; one son, Michael (Janene) Kalb of Fairfield, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Jeremy Coker of Marquette Heights, Allison (Ryan) Campbell of Peoria, Jill (Dan Jenkins) Cady of Green Valley and Carrie Cady of Peoria; a bonus granddaughter, Darcie Cady; three great-grandchildren, Kiley Coker, Morgan Coker and Alexis Cady and one great-great-granddaughter, Ke’hlani.
Bobbie owned and operated with her husband Art’s Trading Post in Peoria for 22 years, retiring in 1995.
An avid reader, Roberta loved playing games including Pinochle, Dutch Blitz and Scrabble, which she always won. She enjoyed line dancing in earlier years.
Bobbie was a longtime member of the Eagle’s Auxiliary in Peoria and the Limestone American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Bartonville.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pekin.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Frank Winfrey will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will follow in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
