Robin B Hansen

Born November 22, 1956 in Waterloo, Iowa to Darrell D. and Donna D. (Evanson) Hansen, he married Jean G. Pitsch on May 14, 1977 in Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving are his parents of Pekin; three sons, Ryan (Kelli) Hansen of Danvers, Kris (Denise) Hansen of Peoria and Mitch (Brandi) Hansen of Secor; nine grandchildren; one sister, Belinda Frankel of Peoria; and two brothers, Reed (Dianne) Hansen of Decatur and Randy (Isa) Hansen of Mobile, Alabama.

Rob was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Morton.

He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls fan.

Rob had worked as a machinist at several area shops.

His memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Morton. Pastor Jeff Anderson will officiate. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be in Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin, where military honors will be provided by the United States Navy and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.
