Robin was born December 22, 1968 in Pekin to Marvin and Geraldine (Jarboe) Simpkins. They preceded him in death.
Surviving are one son, Zebulen (Andrea) Simpkins of Pekin; one daughter, Zoee Simpkins of Normal; three grandchildren, Zayley, Dominic and Maverick Simpkins all of Pekin.
Robin was a barber and owned and operated Beefy’s Chop Shop in Pekin for many years.
Robin was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking, kayaking, fishing, mushroom hunting and camping.
A gathering celebrating his life will be at a later date.
