Rodney was born October 29, 1953 in Saint Louis, MO to Roland Cox and Christine Willis.
Preceding him in death are both of his parents and one brother, Elon Thigpen.
He is survived by one sister; Sidney Price of Spring Valley, California, two brothers; Robin Cox of Washington D.C. and Dubois Cox of Puerto Rico.
Rodney worked throughout his life in and retired from the concrete industry.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin with no scheduled services at this time.
