Ronnie Joe Pope

He was born December 1, 1984 in Rome, Georgia to Eddie Joe Byers Jr. and Janice Pope.

Surviving are his mother Janice Pope; two children, Colton and Rose Byers; three sisters, Heather Byers of Peoria, Amanda Byers of Georgia and Angela Murphy of Georgia; one brother, Kevin Byers of East Peoria; his grandmother, Judy Davis of Danville; his aunt, Marie Pope; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his Father; one sister, Amy Pope and his grandfather, Joe Byers.

He worked at Alexander’s in Peoria.

Ronnie was a loving father. He loved nothing more than spending time with his children. In his free time enjoyed listening to music and spending time with friends. He will be remembered for his big heart and his love and dedication to his children and family. He was dependable, hardworking and will be truly missed by his family, especially his mother.

There will be no services. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
