

She was born on January 3, 1936 in Delavan, Illinois, to Harry and Blanche (Whitman) Burrell. She married her “Frenchman” and love of her life, George Lambert, on August 10, 1978; he preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Daniel Dreher of New York and Douglas Dreher of North Carolina; a stepson, Gregory (Lyn) Lambert of Texas; an honorary daughter, Crystalenne (Steve) Bledsoe and her children, Vivian and Henry of Alabama; her caregivers the last few years: niece, Karen (Lyle) Seest, great-niece, Lynn (Leonard) Kasinger, great-great-nieces, Autumn (Shawn) Mayberry and Liberty Kasinger and great-great-nephew, Seth (MacKenzie) Kasinger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her grandson, Raven Dreher; her honorary grandson, Ralph Murphy; her sister, Olive Plut; and brothers, Chuck, Bob, and Ed Burrell.
Rosie led an adventurous life, living in many places including Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Okinawa, Japan; and Dallas, Texas.
She was a quick-witted lady, always striking up entertaining conversations with people. She loved her computer, researching all sorts of topics and creating daily Facebook posts. She was quite tech savvy for someone of her generation.
As per Rosie’s wishes, there will be no services. Interment at Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan will be at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in pekin.
