Rose "Rosie" Lightbody

Rosie was born to Heye E. Look, Sr. and Beulah (Meisinger) Look, on February 7, 1950. She grew up in her Peoria County home, one of nine daughters and two sons. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Marguerite, Carrie, Kathy, JoAnn and Minnie.

Surviving are five siblings, Barbara, Shirley, Heye, Jr., Debra and Donald and one brother-in-law, Mike, all from the Peoria area, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rosie always loved crafts and music. She always had the television or radio on to country music. She made crafts for all holidays and birthdays for her relatives. She dearly loved all her nieces and nephews.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bartonville, where she was baptized and confirmed.

Private family services will be held with burial in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Bartonville. Pastor Michael Jones will officiate. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family to help defray funeral expenses.
