Rose M Pfleger

Born December 31, 1950 in Peoria to Walter and Irene L. (Johns) Simmons, she married Donald L. Pfleger on July 24, 1993 in Romeoville. He died June 18, 2008 in Pekin. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and one sister.

Surviving are one son, Dan (Lea) Muller of Pekin; four grandchildren, Jennelle, Anja, Katelin, and Jadin; and one brother, Richard (Connie) Simmons of Tremont.

A homemaker, Rose had worked with the Tazewell County Senior Meals Program.

Rose enjoyed reading, crocheting, bowling, butterflies, and doing puzzles and word searches.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral. The Rev. Steve Weber will officiate. Burial will be at Mackinaw Township Cemetery in Mackinaw.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
