She was born August 17, 1935 in Peoria to Edward W. and Edna M. (Bradshaw) Berry. Her parents preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (Debra) Christianson of Manito and Randy (Becky) Christianson of South Pekin; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and her twin sister, Leona McQueen of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
A homemaker, Ruth was a loyal and loving mother and friend. She was fascinated by the weather and enjoyed watching The Weather Channel.
She formerly attended Gethsemane Church in Pekin.
Her private memorial service will be Friday, March 27, 2020 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no public visitation.
