Ruth V Lierle

She was born March 14, 1929 in Louistown to Thomas and Florence (Blackberry) Wyatt. They preceded her in death.

She married the love of his life, LeRoy U. “Jim” Lierle on September 16, 1948 in Peoria. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Jimmy (Nancy) Lierle of Marquette Heights; two daughters, Nancy (Jerry) Gendron of East Peoria and Carolyn Lierle of Peoria, nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

Ruth enjoyed her trips with her granddaughter and daughter-in-law to Memphis Tennessee and always looked forward to shopping trips.

A gathering celebrating Ruth’s life will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at Zion Evangelical United Methodist Church Cemetery in rural Pekin at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
