Ryan Maddux Nimmo

He was born March 19, 2009 in Peoria to Ryan and Jenae (Hamilton) Nimmo.

Maddy is survived by his parents of Pekin; maternal grandparents, Danny (Stephanie) Hamilton of North Pekin; paternal grandparents, Penny (Dan) Meixsell of Pekin and Thomas (Ella) Nimmo of Pekin; and paternal great-grandparents, Barbara Nimmo of Pekin and Ann Sapp of Kewanee. He also leaves his aunts and uncles, Angie (Don) Brush of Green Valley, Josh (Kara) Hamilton of Bartonville, Jacob Hamilton, Jessica (Matt) Powell, and Jenessa Hamilton, all of Pekin, Justin (Sara) Hamilton of Marquette Heights and Jeleighsa Hamilton of Dubuque, Iowa; and many cousins.

Maddy was a fun-loving, vivacious little boy who inspired everybody with his comedic personality and gorgeous smile. He loved choo-choo trains, SpongeBob and Ninja turtles. His biggest love was his stuffed lion, “Lenny” who comforted him through his journey. He was a momma’s boy and enjoyed playing with his cousins, being Daddy’s little helper and spending time with his grandparents.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Tom Pisano will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with expenses.
